Graduates of this program can choose to have their name included on a list of certified babysitters that is available to families requiring child care. The Babysitter Referral List matches graduates of the Babysitter Safety Course with parents requiring babysitting services. Names from this list will not be provided over the phone.

CRIMESTOPPERS TIPS LINE 1-800-222-8477 (1-800-222-TIPS)Objective: CRIMESTOPPERS WORKS WITH THE MEDIA, PUBLIC AND YOUR LOCAL POLICE. A person with information about a crime calls the tip number. This person then anonymously receives an award if the information leads to an arrest. Awards are based on the crimes’ impact on the community. Volunteers promote the program and help to raise funds for the program, including the annual telethon on TV.

Homemaking services are administered through the seniors outreach program. This service provides assistance with light housekeeping to help seniors and persons with a disability maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

The program is subsidized and is available to families with an annual income of less than $75,000 and no access to insurance. Counselling fees are pro- rated on the client’s annual income.
