Groups audience:

If you are a quilter looking for like minded people or a quilt maker wanna bee, we get to gether twice a month at the Lac St.Anne Chateau (the new seniors lodge) in Onoway. Times are the second and forth Thursday of the month, from 10 am to 4 pm. Bring your lunch, you own sewing machine, etc. or just yourself to see what all we do.
We love meeting new or long time quilters and we welcome all.
A small group of quilter's who had been getting together for a number of years and decided back in Jan 2011 to become a guild. With this came a few more area quilters and we doubled our membership. Since then we have been very busy doing charity quilts, working on our own quilts and learning from each other. We sent about 30 quilts to Slave Lake last year and about 60 little dress to Africa. We also sent 8 quilts to Sparrows Hope, our local womens shelter located near Barrhead. We hope to keep them supplied with quilts. We will also give to people in our own community and have a supply ready when they are needed.
Recently we hung several members quilts at The Public Library, in Onoway.
